in the city

I took a few days off work with the girls being in Sydney. It was hard to get them, but really worthwhile. We had a great time mosey-ing around. They of course wanted to get to the main tourist spots. Here are some of the pics from that day.

Lisa and Aimee in Sydney

Biased Dad says: My two beautiful daughters visited to celebrate our birthdays in July. The Sydney weather was crisp but kind. We had an exhausting, but fun itinerary. Here are some of the pics - more to follow. Thanks for a wonderful time, my princesses !

scenes from Paddy's market

Lisa and Aimz visited in July for 10 days which was fantastic. We went downtown to see Paddy,s Markets - a huge indoor market, selling lotsa stuff. Once again, the people were a bit more interesting than the merchandise :)

Seems like every one has a Schnauzer in Surry Hills and Waterloo.

scenes at the Surry Hills market

One of the things we enjoy about living where we do, is being able to drop into the Surry Hills market held first Saturday in every month. Individualistic expression is the norm, and people-watching is first class, even if the merchandise can be a bit suspect !

K'Rd restaurant and club

Taken on a recent visit to Auckland - Joy Bong restaurant and a club down the road.
